KDS Fire and Security holds a license from the Department of Justice, Equality & Law Reform under the Private Security Authority (PSA). The government established the PSA in 2004 to regulate the private security industry in Ireland. Strictly speaking, the act makes it an offence for a company or person to provide a security service without a PSA license.

Furthermore, KDS Fire & Security is registered and accredited with the EN50131 standard by the National Standards Authority of Ireland (NSAI). Under EN50131-1:2006, NSAI Inspectors assess installers who apply for certification. They strictly evaluate our operations, procedures, and installations against the requirements of I.S. EN 50131/1.

Because of our EN50131-1:2006 accreditation, the National Standards Authority of Ireland (NSAI) has passed our name to the Garda Síochána. As a result, the Gardaí are prepared to respond to alarm activations from our monitored installations. Additionally, the insurance industry generally offers favorable rates to householders and businesses with certified installations like ours.
